Principal

Kathleen A. Sack, President
Kathleen Sack has worked in the Organizational Development/Leadership Development field for over 20 years. Before launching TLP Consultants, LLC, she was the Director of Learning Programs for Tyco International (US), Inc. and was responsible for strategic learning initiatives including executive development programs and implementation of e-learning curriculums aligned to business strategies. She has also held organizational development positions at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and Mobil Oil.

Kathleen graduated from Radford University and received a Masters of Arts in Human Resource Management from Marymount University. She is an active member of the OD Network and ASTD.

Alan J. Sack, Managing Director
Alan Sack brings more than 20 years of experience in sales and financial services to TLP. Alan’s experience in large corporations, privately held businesses, and small start-up organizations enables him to understand the talent development experience from a variety of perspectives.
His broad business experience includes responsibilities in staff management, financial operations, strategic planning and business development.

Alan graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.S. in Business Administration and received a MBA with a Finance concentration from University of Missouri-Kansas City. He holds the VP Finance and Administration board position for the Research Triangle Area of ASTD.

Chuck Shields
Chuck Shields brings over 30 years experience in Human Resources/Organizational Development to his role at TLP. Before embarking on his consulting career in 1996, Chuck spent over 20 years in the corporate environment, including a successful tenure at the Disney Company where he was one of the developers of the Disney University and designed the highly regarded employee orientation process. He also delivered measurable results to Manor Care Inc./Choice Hotels, International, where he enhanced the recruiting strategy, significantly raised the talent bar and set a new industry standard for employee retention.

Chuck holds a B.S. degree and is a frequently invited guest speaker. He is an active ASTD member.
