Principal

Alan J. Sack, Managing Director
As Managing Director of TLP Consultants, LLC, Alan works with organizations to identify and develop strategic talent which helps build organizational capability. Clients include large multinational corporations, midsize businesses and non-profit organizations.

He is certified in the Lominger International tools of VOICES, CHOICES, Team Architect, and Strategic Effectiveness Architect. He is MBTI Certified, and develops workshops to enhance individual’s understanding of themselves. Alan’s specialty is using these and other tools to help individuals and teams to “see” their world from a different viewpoint, thereby increasing communication.

Alan’s primary background is in the financial and sales fields, having worked in large corporations, small start-ups, and several volunteer non-profit leadership positions. His banking experience includes 3 years as Vice President at Boatman’s Bank and 7 years as Vice President at United Missouri Bank, both in Kansas City, MO. He also worked for Pershing, in Jersey City, NJ as a business analyst/project manager responsible for large scale technology projects.

He has been involved with ASTD-RTA (local ASTD chapter in Raleigh, NC) for five years, serving on the board for four years including his current role as Chapter President. In addition, he serves on two ASTD national committees. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.S. in Business Administration and received a MBA with a Finance concentration from University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Dr. William A Enns
William Enns has 32 years of experience in organization development and leadership. He serves as a mentor to senior leaders in companies and non-profit organizations. His expertise is in helping companies and individuals deal openly and honestly with each other by building trust in the workplace. He is a frequent speaker on trust, and coaches individual and teams to improve performance.

William has a BA degree from California State University, Los Angeles, did doctoral studies in Organizational Management and Conflict Management, and completed a doctorate from Luther Seminary in Mission and Leadership.

Chuck Shields
Chuck Shields brings over 30 years experience in Human Resources/Organizational Development to his role at TLP. Before embarking on his consulting career in 1996, Chuck spent over 20 years in the corporate environment, including a successful tenure at the Disney Company where he was one of the developers of the Disney University and designed the highly regarded employee orientation process. He also delivered measurable results to Manor Care Inc./Choice Hotels, International, where he enhanced the recruiting strategy, significantly raised the talent bar and set a new industry standard for employee retention.

Chuck holds a B.S. degree and is a frequently invited guest speaker. He is an active ASTD member.
